March 22, 2011 , Toronto, Ontario -
To commemorate 27 years of minivan leadership, Chrysler Canada invited dealership sales staff to their Eastern Business Centre in Mississauga today to drive away 500 of the new 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan & Chrysler Town & Country minivans, which are built in Windsor, Ontario. For a limited time, Chrysler Canada is offering consumers a no-charge freight incentive, valued at $1,400, towards the purchase of select Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town & Country minivans.
Dodge Grand Caravan is the second-best selling vehicle in all of Canada and remains the best-selling minivan in the country for more than 27 consecutive years. As a matter of fact, 8 of every 10 minivans sold in Canada is either a Dodge Grand Caravan or a Chrysler Town & Country. As the original minivan inventor, Chrysler Group has millions of customers worldwide and continues to enhance its product leadership position. For 2011, Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country received an all-new interior, a new 3.6L Pentastar V-6 engine, enhanced ride and handling, as well as improved safety features. Added value, customer focused features, and superior versatility all combine to make the 2011 Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country the best minivans ever.
In addition, the Ontario Dealer Advertising Association today announced a $10,000 donation to the Michael Pinball Clemons Foundation. This group is currently building 131 schools in under-resourced countries, building homes for single parent families locally, providing scholarships to local students and placing computers into the homes of needy families in the Toronto area.
“We chose to support the efforts of The Michael Pinball Clemons Foundation because we felt this organization continues to make a substantial difference in the lives of children and their families both in our community and in under-developed countries,” said Al Rams, President of Ontario Dealer Advertising Association. “Millions of families around the
